To get the best results, perform these facial exercises for 20 minutes at least 3-5 times a week. 1. Puff Your Cheeks

This exercise enhances the blood circulation level in your face muscles, particularly near your cheek areas. Improved blood circulation uplifts upper cheek muscles and enhances facial appearance. This exercise will strengthen your cheek muscles.  

Directions

Expand your mouth with air and then, hold your breath for 10 seconds. Now, try moving air towards the right cheek and hold it for the next 10 seconds. Now, do the same thing for the left cheek. While releasing the air, make a big “O”. Now, repeat this exercise at least 10 times.

2. Raise Your Brows

If you perform this forehead exercise regularly, then this will keep your brows up and help to get rid of forehead wrinkles. Due to the action of the frontalis muscles on the forehead, you may get forehead wrinkles. To prevent sagging eyebrows, you can perform this exercise.

Directions:

First, you need to keep your index and middle fingers together below your eyebrows. Rest your fingers and palm on your face. Try to lift your eyebrows up and down by keeping your eyes open with the help of your fingers. After finishing the movement, relax for a few seconds. Perform this exercise in at least 3 sets of 30 seconds each.

3. Simha Mudra

This lion posture or Simha Mudra exercise controls and tones all the facial muscles.

Directions:

Sit down comfortably by touching your knees on the ground. Now, keep your palms on the thighs. Twig your tongue outside and stretch it downwards by using force. Extend as much as possible. While performing this posture, exhale and roar like a lion.

4. The Half Cringe

Though this could be a tedious posture to perform, this position is beneficial when you want to lose face fat and get a chiseled jawline. This posture particularly targets the areas of your neck, mouth, and cheek muscles. 

Directions:

First, you need to push your lower lip backward or at one corner of your mouth. Then, give pressure on the muscles of your neck for 10 seconds. While performing the exercise, you will notice vascularity in your neck. Repeat this posture at least 15 times.

5. Chin Lifts

Chin lift is a facial exercise that is specially designed for the lower half of your face. This exercise targets your jaw area. This is a perfect exercise to remove fat from the chin area. 

Directions:

Move your head backward and expand the neck as much as possible. Now, move your lower lip over your upper lip and hold this position for 10 seconds. Perform this position for at least 10 sets of holding the position for 10 seconds.

6. Cheekbone Lift

This exercise is beneficial in tightening your cheek muscles and minimizes the fat in that area. This is an ideal exercise for maintaining the form and shape of the cheeks. 

Directions:

Put your fingers on the cheek and by using fingers, gently lift the skin upwards. Now, open your mouth as if you are making “O”.  Hold this position for 5 seconds. While doing this exercise, you may feel a slight pressure in your cheek muscles. Perform this exercise in at least 10 sets. 

7. Fish Face

If you are a selfie lover, then you must have adequate knowledge about this posture. This exercise tones and stretches your facial muscles.

Directions:

Suck your chins and lips insides just like a fish. Try to smile while holding this position. To get the best results, perform this exercise repeatedly throughout the day.

8. Mouthwash Technique

To overcome double chin and tone your cheeks perfectly, you should practice this exercise.

Directions: Inflate your mouth with air and then, transform it from one side to another, just like cleaning your mouth using a mouthwash. Continue this posture for some time and then, relax and repeat.

9. Neckroll

This is another effective exercise to lose a double chin. This exercise targets your chin, jawline, and neck muscle.

Directions

Sit on the ground while facing your head forward. Now, bend your head towards one side and turn it in a circular motion. Keep your spine straight and shoulders down while performing this posture. Perform this exercise in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions.
